The concept behind this project is centered around the journey of a diverse group of Pacific Island peoples coming together and incorporating their unique values from the islands into the landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand.
This journey is reflected in the spaces and their relationships to each other, as well as the ideas and concepts that surround them. The forms, fittings, and material selections throughout the project were informed by these ideas and concepts.
In order to accommodate staff and future growth, as well as an events space, the Ministry of Pacific Peoples took an additional office floor.
