McVeagh Fleming

Relocating the team to their new home at 188 Quay Street provided an excellent opportunity to co-create an office designed around the needs of its people and clients. The firm decided to move away from the traditional, heavily partitioned law firm offices and open the perimeter of the building to create a new sense of spaciousness, supporting collaboration and confidentiality simultaneously.

With large-scale windows wrapping around the floor, the light-filled, airy space pours light into the core of the building. In addition, glass-fronted offices are positioned in the centre of the building to enable natural light to flow into the open-plan office.

Client-facing meeting rooms are positioned directly off the reception area, with a barista service within immediate reach. To further enable flexible working, bespoke furniture, quiet rooms for focused work, meeting spaces, and large breakout areas strike the right between focus and calm. 

A sophisticated reception welcomes everyone to McVeagh Fleming. The colour palette is a nod to nature and plays on the vast Waitemata Harbour vista.
