Catalyst were engaged as design and build consultants for their Beaumont St, Auckland location. This would be the second major office project Catalyst would deliver for Crombie Lockwood (now Gallagher Insurance), the first being in Wellington, and smaller works in Whangarei and West Auckland.

JBWere, a leading financial management firm with offices in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, engaged Catalyst to reimagine their Wellington workspace. As a client-focused organisation, JBWere sought a refurbishment that would enhance collaboration while improving acoustic privacy. Their existing office no longer aligned with their evolving needs, prompting a thoughtful redesign to create a more functional and engaging environment.

You only have to glance at the directory board in the lobby at 22 The Terrace to realise that you are in a very special green building. Simply put, the transformation of an existing 1980s commercial office block into an award winning sustainable 5 Greenstar showpiece has been truly efficient.

Catalyst partnered with Volpara Health to deliver a thoughtful office fitout at their Victoria Street premises in Wellington. The project focused on creating a refreshed, high-performing workspace while prioritising sustainability, cost efficiency, and alignment with Volpara’s brand.

We designed a studio space for a squad of dinos!

Dinosaur Polo Club is an independent video game developer based in Wellington. They’re a handful of lovely humans creating games with relatable simplicity. The past couple of years have seen their studio grow as they work on exciting new games and needed a new space to house their expanding squad of talented dinos.

Catalyst was assigned with the mission to design the best office space in Auckland, one that exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were instrumental in making crucial decisions such as selecting the building to move to and creating high-level concept designs for all three options. Ultimately, the Australis Nathan building in the highly sought-after Britomart area emerged as the clear winner.

Catalyst partnered with Sedgwick New Zealand to create a plan for accommodating their expanding team and establishing a more socially and value-driven work environment. This collaboration resulted in a relocation to new premises on Carlton Gore Road in Newmarket.

SLR Consulting are global sustainability leaders whose purpose is "Making Sustainability Happen" through expert advisors and specialists who tackle sustainability challenges. It was a great partnership to work together on this project where are values aligned, from collaboration, people, to the environment.

Catalyst was engaged to deliver two compact but high-impact retail spaces for UGG Express — one on Lambton Quay in Wellington and another in North City, Porirua. These 30–50sqm ground floor sites marked the beginning of what is set to become a broader rollout of UGG stores across New Zealand.

As the 40th fastest growing company in New Zealand according to the Deloitte Fast 50 awards in 2018, the team at ZX Security were excited to settle into their new office on Brandon Street in Wellington.
