Catalyst was engaged to deliver an approximately 1,100 sqm office fit-out for Suncorp’s Wellington office within the Datacom Centre. The project involved the design and build of the previously unoccupied half of the building, consolidating Suncorp’s existing footprint and creating a contemporary, future-focused workplace.

Working closely with the clients of O-Studio Wellington, the brief was to create a calm, welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, movement, and connection, while also reflecting the studio’s brand and values. The space needed to feel restorative and inclusive, balancing functionality with a strong sense of warmth and care.

The building at 100 Taranaki Street/1 Ghuznee Street, once a bar, restaurant, and brewery, presented a unique challenge for transforming it into a modern office.

Their existing office no longer aligned with their evolving needs, prompting a thoughtful redesign to create a more functional and engaging environment.

Catalyst delivered a successful design build solution for Wellington AOG accommodation, a 5 Star Green Star project design.  Using natural materials along with earthy hues, the project perfectly reflects the clients want to create a special and emotionally resonant workspace in the heart of Wellingtons city centre.
