Occupying the historic former BNZ headquarters at 125 Queen Street, Kernel's new workplace represents the convergence of New Zealand's financial past and future. For a progressive fintech and wealth management company reshaping the way New Zealanders invest, the opportunity to establish its home within one of the country's most significant financial landmarks was both symbolic and compelling.

A 5,000m² purpose-built workplace uniting three existing offices into one central location. Rooted in Māori heritage and guided by sustainable, innovative design principles, the building stands as a forward-looking landmark for the Dunedin community.

Catalyst was engaged to deliver an approximately 1,100 sqm office fit-out for Suncorp’s Wellington office within the Datacom Centre. The project involved the design and build of the previously unoccupied half of the building, consolidating Suncorp’s existing footprint and creating a contemporary, future-focused workplace.

Delivered as a full design and build project, the brief focused on creating a practical, high-performing workspace that could support a range of teams while remaining conscious of budget and programme requirements.

Catalyst was engaged by a market-leading software and technology business to revitalise an existing floor within their tower office, with a key goal: to create an inviting, functional space that would support a return-to-office culture.

After successfully delivering their Wellington office, Catalyst were entrusted by multinational organisation, Servcorp, to fit out their new Auckland site on Level 8 of 139 Quay Street; a landmark in the harbour skyline.

We designed a studio space for a squad of dinos!

Dinosaur Polo Club is an independent video game developer based in Wellington. They’re a handful of lovely humans creating games with relatable simplicity. The past couple of years have seen their studio grow as they work on exciting new games and needed a new space to house their expanding squad of talented dinos.

Catalyst partnered with Sedgwick New Zealand to create a plan for accommodating their expanding team and establishing a more socially and value-driven work environment. This collaboration resulted in a relocation to new premises on Carlton Gore Road in Newmarket.

It was a great partnership to work together on this project where are values aligned, from collaboration, people, to the environment.
